BAHAHA I love my sister!!!!

My sister's Facebook status:

I wish people would speak in a language we could all understand! parle anglais sil vous plait!

Then she commented below it, asking me if she spelled it right. The following was my response:

OMG! funny explanation. You actually used the imperative (a command) and parler (the verb) is normally conjugated with you (singular) as "parles" but in the imperative with verbs ending in -er, you drop the "s." "anglais" is spelled correctly. It's actually "s'il vous plait" and there's an accent that looks like this ^ on the i...Since you used you (singular) in the imperative, you should be consistent and say "s'il te plait," or change it to "parlez" instead if you are speaking to many people. So, yes you spelled pretty much all of it right, except for the accent you don't know how to do (which is okay, you don't have to know) and the apostrophe between the "s" and "il."

So it should be either "parle anglais s'il te plaît" or "parlez anglais, s'il vous plaît."

Now I'm sure you'll stop bothering me about speaking/writing in French all the time. But hey...you asked for it.=P

My new Facebook status:

JH is going to teach Lilli how to speak French so that they can have conversations together...just to spite her lovely sister. :) ♥

Ask and ye shall receive. *evil grin*
